Étchiboy has been a privileged partner present and involved since the creation of the Fransaskois arrow belt in 2017. The Franco-Manitoban company specializes in the production of arrow belts.

FROM QUECHUA TO CANADIAN PRAIRIES
Before being sold in Canada, the belts were produced in Peru by Quechua artisans in the Cusco region, who preserved weaving techniques whose patterns are similar to those of French-Canadian and Métis belts. Perched at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, nearly a hundred Queshuas are involved in the design of a belt that requires a day's work for a weaver.
ETHICAL TRADE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS IMPACT
The vocation of our partner is not limited to making a profit. Étchiboy aims to help improve the living conditions of indigenous Peruvians.
The company cooperates with an association of single mothers and orphans. Single mothers are among the poorest demographic groups in Peru.« They are abandoned by their government, hardly integrated into the business world and live in very rural areas where tourists never go. - Says Miguel Vielfaure, founder of Etchiboy..
« I learned that with the money they earned, one family had electricity installed, another bought a television or a computer. Now all have a better standard of living! - rejoices Miguel Vielfaure..
